well i already knew this but turns out katy’s great-great-grandparents were from an island in the azores (portugal). and my grandparents are from the azores, which means my great-great-grandparents were probably from the azores too, and it leads me to the conclusion that they lived in the same island or whatever AND OMG. perry comes from the portuguese surname pereira and it’s one of my fucking surnames and i’m freaking out, i wanna find my roots too. KATY MAH BITCH YOU OWE ME YOUR PRESENCE IN MY LIFE, OUR GREAT-GREAT-GRANDPARENTS WERE BUDDIES.
